Bringing our services together

Beginning Friday March 20, 2026, we will be merging the ACU and Caisse banking systems. Following this conversion, members will experience enhanced banking services and access to more locations for their day-to-day banking.

To ensure a smooth transition, please review the details about the upcoming conversion weekend.

From Friday, March 20 until Monday, March 23, access to most banking services will be temporarily unavailable while we carry out the work of merging our systems. Please see below for details on service interruptions and what you can expect.

e-Transfer interruptions and impacts

During the week leading up to conversion weekend, sending and receiving Interac e-Transfers will be impacted. This may affect your ability to move funds or receive payments. Please see below for details on outage windows and tips for a smooth transition.

Interac e-Transfer®  Unavailable Available
Send Money Beginning Monday, March 16 at 2 p.m. Service resumes Monday, March 23
Receive and Autodeposit Beginning Wednesday, March 18 at 11 a.m. Service resumes Monday, March 23

Preparing for e-Transfer Downtime

  1. Clean-up pending e-Transfers - Ensure any of your sent e-Transfers are accepted prior to conversion weekend, otherwise they may be cancelled.
  2. Autodeposit e-Transfers: Incoming e-Transfers to members with enabled Autodeposit will be declined, and the sender will need to re-initiate the transfer once service resumes.

During conversion weekend, you'll still receive notifications if someone sends you an e-Transfer. However, while the system is down, you won't be able to accept the funds until service resumes.

How to prepare for conversion weekend

Update contact information

To receive the most up-to-date information regarding conversion weekend, please ensure that the email address and mobile phone number we have on file for you are up to date. You will also need them and your current debit card number to log into online banking for the first time after the conversion.

You can update your information at any time by logging into your online banking account in the ‘Profile and Preferences’ section, or by contacting your branch.

Alternate method of payment

Debit card purchases and access through ATMs will be extremely limited throughout the weekend. We highly recommend that you have alternative methods of payment, such as credit cards or cash.

e-Transfers

Make sure to complete any e-Transfer well in advance. Reminder, send money is unavailable beginning Mon, Mar 16 at 2 p.m. and receive/autodeposit is unavailable beginning Wed, Mar 18 at 11 a.m.

Ensure any of your sent e-Transfers are accepted prior to conversion weekend, otherwise they may be cancelled.

Your e-transfer profile and recipients should be moved to the new platform, but following conversion weekend there is a chance you may need to reregistered. Now is a great time to review your recipient list, remove any outdated recipients and save a copy just in case.

If you have Autodeposit enabled, this will not carry over. You will be required to set up Autodeposit following conversion weekend.

Bill payees and recurring bill payments

Pay bills ahead of conversion weekend to avoid any interruptions in payments or processing delays.

All your existing bill payees and recurring bill payments should transfer over automatically to the new platform. However, this is a great opportunity to review and clean up your payee list—remove any outdated or unused payees to streamline your future payments.

Preauthorized payments and deposits

All existing automatic deposits and withdrawals or preauthorized payments will continue without interruption.

Recurring transfers

All your recurring account transfers will continue without interruption.

Statements and transaction history

To ensure you have uninterrupted access to your past records, please download and/or print any historical statements you may need prior to March 20, as past statements may not be available in online banking immediately following conversion. To download your statements:

  1. Login to e-Caisse

  2. Click on the tab ‘Statements’

  3. Click on the ‘Format’ drop-down menu

  4. Select to download to one of the following: QuickBooks©, Quicken©, Simply Accounting© or Microsoft Money©.

Note: Once the banking system conversion is complete, you will not have access to your transaction history.

Following conversion weekend, your statements will have a refreshed design. Statements will also transition from bilingual to your choice of either French or English. If you wish to update your language preference, please contact us at 204-237-8988 or 1-866-926-0706.
